Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Set up, run, and clean equipment in the production area, making products following appropriate procedures in a clean and safe work environment, adhering to cGMP, JFDA, and other applicable regulations.
• The Production Operator is responsible for the finished drug product. This position involves executing tasks manually or operating equipment that performs these functions.
• Set up, maintain, and operate various pieces of computerized production equipment.
• Set up, maintain, and operate compression and coating machines.
• Perform line clearance of assigned production lines as required.
• Conduct visual inspections of drug products in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs.
• Maintain and ensure that documentation, both written and electronic, is accurate, complete, and factual, as required by policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Complete and maintain applicable logbooks and batch record paperwork as required.
• Provide input and suggestions for process improvements, as well as for procedure writing and revision.
• Report machine and manual deviations to the area supervisor.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma  in Pharmacy, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Ability to use computers for various data-entry transactions and to retrieve information (procedures, safety, employment, and other information). Proficiency in MS Office products (specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel) is required.
• Ability to perform data entry/maintenance in SAP or equivalent systems.
• Good English language skills (especially in reading and writing) are required.
• Pharmaceutical or other regulatory (GMP) experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand continually throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work morning or night shifts, with extended hours if required.
• Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
• Job involves frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
